The Security Career Fastrack: Every Texas Certification, One Price

Six Texas security courses (Level 2, Level 3, Level 4 PPO and OC) bundled into one path for $500 instead of $569.95 separately, with all hands-on training in one three-day…

Here is how most people get licensed in Texas security: they pay for Level 2, finish it, wait a while, save up, pay for Level 3, finish the classroom part, wait for a range day, eventually get commissioned, then a year later realize they need OC, then another year later look at Level 4 and decide it is too much money all at once.

It takes years, it costs more in the end, and a lot of people stall somewhere in the middle.

We built the Security Career Fastrack to end that.

What it is

One enrollment. One payment. Six courses, everything from entry-level unarmed security through Level 4 Personal Protection Officer:

  • Texas Level 2 Security Class (online)
  • Texas Level 3 Security Class, Part 1 (online classroom portion)
  • Texas Level 3 Security Class, Part 2 (in person)
  • Texas OC (Pepper Spray) Class, Part 1 (online)
  • Texas OC (Pepper Spray) Class, Part 2 (in person practical)
  • Texas Level 4 Personal Protection Officer Class (in person)

Bought one at a time, those six courses come to $569.95. As a bundle they are $500.

The saving is not the main point

Seventy dollars is nice. It is not why the Fastrack exists.

The real difference is that enrolling once removes every place where people used to fall out. Your three online courses unlock the moment your order goes through: all three, immediately, self-paced, on any device. You get six months of access to work through them and download your certificates.

Then all of your hands-on training happens in one three-day session, not three separate trips to a range on three different months. It is already paid for. You are not quoted a price for the next step, because there is no next step to quote.

Built in the right order

Texas requires Level 2 first, then Level 3 for an armed Security Officer Commission, and Level 4 for Personal Protection Officer work. The Fastrack follows that order deliberately, because your Level 3 hands-on day sets up the two Level 4 days that follow it.

What the three-day session looks like

Day 1 is Level 3 Part 2: defensive tactics, handcuffing, baton, firearms handling and the firearms proficiency exam, plus the OC Part 2 practical. It is a long day and it covers the hands-on requirements for both courses.

Days 2 and 3 are the Level 4 Personal Protection Officer course. Level 4 is in-person only (there is no online portion for it), so these two days are the whole thing.

You reserve your seat on a scheduled date once your online coursework is done. There is nothing further to pay at that point; it is already covered.

Who should take it

If you are switching careers into security, building toward armed or supervisory work, or you already know you want the full credential set eventually, the Fastrack is simply the cheaper and faster way to get there. If you only ever want to work unarmed, take Level 2 on its own. We are not going to upsell you into training you do not need.

Licensing and commission fees charged by the Texas DPS are separate and are not included.

What to do first

Enroll, then work through the three online courses at whatever pace your life allows. Once Level 3 Part 1 and OC Part 1 are complete, claim your three-day date. Each session holds a small number of Fastrack places, so the students who finish their online work promptly get the most choice of dates.
